OPEN 25 - I’m delighted to bring you our annual artist’s Open here at the gallery! The show opens on 9th February from 2pm until 5 and many of the selected artists will be joining me - so please do feel free to come along to the opening of the exhibition.

The gallery received over 420 submissions/pieces of work, by 154 artists from across the UK. We are excited to have selected 50 artists work to exhibit in Open 25: approx 85 pieces of amazing work.

The exhibition ends on 22nd March at 4pm and we are open Friday - Sunday 10-4pm (our new Winter opening times).

During the exhibition some of the exhibiting artists will be selected for the following prizes:

Overall Winner - cash prize of £325 and immediate entry for 2 shows during 2025 & 2026.

Selected Artist prizes - immediate entry for 2 shows during 2025 & 2026.

Ceramic Artist Prize x 3 - selected to exhibit in the ceramic areas of the gallery on an ongoing basis - at least 12 months.

Peoples Prize - voted as best artist/piece of work in Open 2025 by our visitors - Gift voucher for £100 to spend at Old Lock Up Gallery & immediate entry for 2 shows during 2025 & 2026.

The Bothy Prize x 2 - Selected to exhibit work in our downstairs Bothy for at least 12 months.
