I’m excited to announce our next & final show of 2024
‘Precious Little’ - Exhibition opens 22th Nov - 24th Dec
The forthcoming exhibition explores moments & experiences in life that touch and fill us up - these are often called ‘Glimmers’ - Glimmers are small, everyday moments that can evoke feelings of joy, safety, peace, or calm. They can be sensory cues that help people feel connected and present, and can have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing. Our lives are often full to brimming with these rich and resourcing moments - yet because of their fleeting nature and our stressful/busy lives they can often pass us by. It seems, to me, a fitting theme for the festive period.
I received an array of submissions from over 130 artists: 43 of whom were selected for this show which explores the abundance of glimmers - the moments & experiences that touch our hearts: There’ll be over 80 pieces of art that fits seamlessly with this theme: both literally and metaphorically. All of the work within this show are under 50x50cm, available to purchase and are priced under £600.

Precious Little - is also a play on words too: encapsulating the notion of these precious moments - but also pondering on the notion that we may often feel as though we have - precious little: yet life often feels abundant with these heartwarming moments, once we take time to notice..

It’s impossible to be lonely
when you’re zesting an orange.
Scrape the soft rind once
and the whole room
fills with fruit.
Look around: you have
more than enough.
Always have.
You just didn’t notice
until now.
